2010 marked Lilla’s re-introduction to racing with the Newport-Bermuda Race, an event in which she only just managed to make the start line after a lightning strike on the hard when she was hauled for bottom paint meant a rig out inspection and replacement of all her electronics two weeks before the race start.

As part of her 2010/2011 Christmas/New Year Charter Lilla entered the St Barts New Year Race as a prelude to the New Year festivities.

St Barts

In 2011 Lilla competed in three offshore races the RORC Caribbean 600, the Marion-Bermuda Race and the Marblehead to Halifax. Her best showing was in June which saw her winning the biannual Marion Bermuda Race and with the luck of the weather and strong winds throughout setting a new course record of just under 69 hours.  Lilla started across the line with Staysail and First Reef and three days later again finished under Staysail and First Reef.

Marion Bermuda

In 2012 Lilla won the Cruising Division in the Newport Bermuda Race, and in won her Class in the windy 2013 Caribbean 600 possibly her best racing result to date against a very competitive fleet.
